Waveform Halves Dental Prosthesis Machining Time
WORKNC DENTAL: Simplicity, Accuracy, and Flexibility at Dental Forum 2020
Visitors to the forthcoming Dental Forum 2020 exhibition in France will see how their machining times for prosthesis can be halved with WORKNC DENTAL, Hexagon's specialized CAM solution for the industry.
To be held at the Parc Floral Paris-Vincennes from March 12 to 14, the dental prosthetics trade show will offer professionals in the sector the opportunity to discover the industry’s latest innovations. More than 4000 visitors are expected again this year.
Exhibiting on stand E95/E94, WORKNC DENTAL will demonstrate its latest version of the 100% open and automatic solution for producing dental prostheses for laboratories and machining centers. WORKNC DENTAL belongs to Hexagon’s wide production software portfolio.
Offering a global, 'automatic,' solution for machining all types of prostheses, it is equipped with an extensive range of optimized and customized machining processes for different dental jobs, based on the materials, tools and machines used.
The 2020 version of WORKNC DENTAL integrates many automatic functions to reduce production costs. The management of the machining process, especially for implantology and mobile, will reduce preparation times and optimize material and tool costs.
According to Laurent Journeau, Business Manager of WORKNC DENTAL, the use of new Hexagon production technologies, such as 'waveform' roughing toolpaths for the production of Titanium Stellite, cuts machining time by more than half, allowing users to maximize their return on investment. WORKNC DENTAL can be fully integrated into dental CAD systems for simple or complex applications, connected to the user’s management system, or in client/server mode, to manage complete production from multiple WORKNC DENTAL stations. This means client/server allows blocks of material to be used on all relevant machines, giving substantial savings.
“In close co-operation with its customers and partners worldwide, WORKNC DENTAL is constantly developing and optimizing application processes, so that each new version of the software contains many innovative features to further simplify and automate preparation and machining,“ concludes Laurent Journeau.
