WORKNC Dental will be at the ARIA CAD CAM dental show to premiere version 4

Live Machining, and First Sight of New WORKNC Dental at ARIA Dentaire

The latest Version of WORKNC’s software solution for accurate and reliable automatic machining of prosthetic appliances, implants and structures will be unveiled at the ARIA Trade Fair in France.

WORKNC Dental V4.00 integrates new automatic cavity recognition algorithms and ensures faultless detection of concurrent or diverging insertion axes offering fully automatic machining on 3+2 or 5-axis positioned machines.

This new functionality can provide optimal use of 3+2 machines which do not have simultaneous 5-axis machining features. A significant amount of time can be saved when preparing sequences as there is no need for interactive management of undercut remachining routines.  In addition, this new functionality offers a direct display of differently orientated axes along with pre-calculation information concerning feasibility on the machine-tool.

WORKNC Dental engineers will be demonstrating these latest developments in the high performance dental CAD/CAM system on Booth 20 at the Lyon show, from September 27 to 28.

WORKNC Dental V4.00 integrates the latest version of WORKNC V22 which offers a wide range of innovative functions ensuring increasingly efficient and reliable toolpaths. WORKNC V22 features new finishing toolpaths along with improvements to existing toolpaths -- for example the addition of new morphing strategies and spiral transitions to obtain finishing toolpaths where the cutter is permanently in contact with surfaces to ensure a perfect surface finish while reducing machining times to improve productivity.

Visitors to booth 20 will also see live cutting on the new Imetric/Willemin Macodel compact 308B 5-axis machining center and the Kréos KRX 50 machine (5-axis Roland machine).

Dental laboratories will be able to evaluate how using this combination of machines and software optimizes the production of bridges, custom abutments and crowns for implants, when machining them from bars, discs, blanks or plates in a wide range of materials such as zirconia, titanium, cobalt chrome, PPMA and lithium disilicate.

They will also see the implementation of the new APOLLO DI intraoral camera by WORKNC’s dental partner Christope Sireix -- STL open file generation, automatic machining process managed with the new 308B machining center (for machining short barstock).
